You might be old if the first car/truck you learned to drive had the starter button on the floor and three on the tree.

You might be old if you remember when you didn’t have to make campground reservations months in advance.

In 1963 I was 15 years old and got my first job. Minimum wage (WA) was $1.25. Couple months later, I bought a 10 year old Ford for $100.00.

    That made me feel old...

You might be old if all you remember were two lane roads while traveling. Also it was fun to read the roadside signs (Berma shave).

While in college I worked selling tickets at the local drive in theater. Wage was $1.25/hr. I worked a single 4 hours shift and my weekly salary was $5.25. I put $5 weekly in the credit union so my take home pay was 25 cents/week.

You might be old if you even remember the corner Tastee Freez or even the neighborhood ice cream truck and remember the tune the truck played.

You might be old - if you needed a ride you stuck your thumb out and folks gladly picked you up and it was safe to do so.
You might be old if you took your hunting rifle to school and worked on it in metal shop, and no one cared.

You are old if you remember lying on the rear window deck of Dad’s ‘55 Mercury. Nice and warm and never once rolled off.
