Travel with full fresh water tanks?

Welcome to the forum. Don't have a 2450 RL but we never travel with a full FW tank if it can be avoided.

Depends on whether you are heading out to boon dock or not. If we're headed to a full hookup campground we just travel with 1/4 tank of fresh water or less.

Thanks for the replies. Our previous trailer was a single axle and I have not towed a double.
From Youtube some people travel with water to "settle the ride". I was concerned about weight.
I appreciate the tip about a 1/4 tank. It probably serves the same purpose.

We have a lot to learn and appreciate any and all advice on this forum.

Keep an eye on tongue weight. Any fresh water you carry in a 2450rl will add to tongue weight.

The fresh water tank is in the front of axles (along with black and bathroom gray water). I left the dealer with a tongue weight of 1000 lbs as measured with a Sherline scale. 1st camping trip with fresh water had a tongue weight of 1200 lbs as measured on a CAT scale.

Thanks, I have wondered where the tanks were. I have a tongue weight of 920
with all tanks empty.

We chose the 2450RL because to us it is the perfect couples Trailer.
Our kids and grandkids come to visit but not so much overnight LOL.
