Folks,

I can't be the only one in this position. We were due to take delivery of our Imagine 2500RL at the end of this week. The dealer says GD has not given any updates due to the pandemic and it's impact on businesses. Who else in this predicament as well? What has anyone heard?

Assuming you haven’t paid for it, you might be better off not having the unit. Recreational travel is going to be severely curtailed, IMO.
My local dealer has been cold calling previous clients trying to drum up business for their existing stock. Huge in-store cash allowance incentives to buy. Close to $2500 on a $30K unit. Even the service department has openings - have never seen that during spring. The industry is hurting. Hope it all works out for you, but if you had the TT, I wonder if there is anywhere to go?

Lazy dealer. They could try a phone call for you. But since they didn't you could call yourself. With it being that soon, there will be a VIN, and with that, GD can tell you when it is due to leave their plant. The dealer should have that. If nothing else, tell the dealer you must have the VIN for insurance, or you won't be able to drive it off the lot (which is more true than not) so can't pick it up or pay them.

Whoops, just saw the other thread about the plant closing. Call today! Likely the unit is all done, and just waiting on transport. Find out if they have it scheduled, and will be allowing that part of the process to happen after they shut down production.

Complicating matters is Pennsylvania has ordered the shut down of all non-essential businesses, including auto/rv dealerships.
