50 Amp to 30 Amp adapter on 2670MK side male or female?
When the COVID-19 is over, I will be taking possession of a 2021 Imagine 2670MK Travel Trailer. I am not familiar with a detachable shore power cord. My previous 26BH Jayco was connected to the Trailer.
I do not plan to install a second air conditioner, so I am planning on using only 30 Amps most of the time. I have a 25 ft 30 amp extension cord that I can use to connect from the trailer to the shore power. I obviously will need an adapter. So is the receptacle on the trailer a 50 amp mail or female connection. And does it have a twist lock.

You may need a 50 to 30 amp adapter because I have been to places that only had a 50 amp service.

Even without a second AC, 50A is much nicer than 30A. Many times trying to use the microwave while a single AC is running is enough to trip a 30A breaker.50A has more than three times the available power of 30A.

I guess I assumed that the second air conditioning option was on a breaker by itself. But if I understand that the rest the trailer is privy to the full 50 amps then yes I would definitely choose a 50 amp connection as my first choice. I probably need to learn more about 50 amp wirings.

This what I use for my 2800bh with 50 amp service. I find it easier to use it with my 30 amp extension cord than the 50 amp cord that came the camper.

Using a 30 amp pedestal connection is very limiting. I just measured with one AC and turning on the water heater on electric it draws 27 amps.
I had it plugged into a 30a/240v generator type twist receptacle with an adaptor. After measuring the current, today I installed a 50a/240 box at my cabin so I could plug the trailer in and run anything I want without fearing tripping a breaker. Mounted the box on the cabin wall. The trailer cord barely reaches so I ordered a 50a/240v extension cord.
