    Morryde X factor brace

Just had the Morryde heavy duty shackles, wet bolts, and CRE3000 equalizers installed on our 21bhe. Wanted to have the x factor brace installed too, but morryde was unable to because of the unusual shape of the center hanger. Anyone aware of of a brace that will work?

did you ever put the X-factor on? Did you find something else that worked? Want to put the X-factor on ours as well.

On our Solitude with the V channels inside of the spring and center hangers, you can still install the X-Factor cross brace if you get longer bolts and clamp around the hanger instead of through it. The clamp keeps the hanger from rotating mostly since the wet bolt is what takes most of the lateral force. I have some photos of what I did. The V reinforcements are now standard on the Solitude and I am assuming may start to show up on all the frames since it is a very simple way to greatly strengthen the hangers.

What was the specific problem with mounting the the X-factor braces on your Imagine? There are also X-factor braces with a drop down to clear plumbing and other obstacles above.

We did Morryde heavy duty shackles, wet bolts, and CRE3000 on our 2600RB. Called Morryde, they recommended against the X-factor brace for us.

I did everything to mine that you did, plus the X-Factor. I'm curious as to why they recommended against it. We've put 10,000 miles since the upgrades and have had no issues.

Guess we had different Tech support folks? Was told it was more tailored to heavier trailers. We have 15-17K miles on it with no issues. GY Endurance at the same time too.

I also replaced the original tires with GY Endurance, and I boxed my spring hangers for extra support. All of the upgrades I've done have made a world of difference.
