    Replace outdoor Capital 2-burner stove?

Hello everyone. I have a 2019 imagine 2800BH. Has anyone found a replacement drop in that has more than the 7500/5000 BTU burners? I canít stand the low output and want more. I have seen posts where people placed portables on top which may work for me. But before I do that Iím hoping to either find a better drop in - OR a slim profile portable that can sit on top of the drawer and slide in and out with the drawer so I can mount it and not have to always take it out and put back.
    Thanks everyone! Stay safe!

I was disappointed in this too. It makes it real tough to brew your morning coffee, especially if there's a little breeze.

Yes! They need to be at least 10k BTUís.. more than that would be great - like the 2-stove portables!

I just replaced mine with a Dometic yesterday. I need to get a connector from the HW store to hook it up but I took photos of the conversion and will post. On paper the BTUs are similar but I understand from reviews that it’s much better designed.

Good deal! I'll be curious to see if you like it better and does it have any noticeable improvement in output!

We got out this weekend with the new burner, and I'm VERY happy with the results. BTUs alone don't tell the whole story and I don't even think I'll need a cover. Here's some photos of the conversion. I had to raise the height of the counter a bit.

It’s attached with staples to those 3/4” strips that GD uses to attach panels. So I had to use a mallet to remove it and dremel down the staples. The countertop is quite sturdy though and didn’t have any damage from removal.
