    Slide operation Question

    Hello Folks,

I have a quick question regarding the slide operation on my 2020 315RLTS. First I love this trailer, very roomy and works for us.

My question, having owned a class a for 14 years prior, and a trailer for 3 years prior to that, all the slides when at the end of the travel in either direction, the motor would cut off. On this trailer at the end of the travel for each direction it makes a loud clunking noise (the drive clutch). Are these trailers not equipped with limit switches? This is an absolute horrible noise. At my PDI with the dealer they said this is normal.

    Thanks,
    Bill

My gives loud clicks when at the end. From my understanding this is normal.

Goes without saying - let go of the button - LOL

Normal for the electric through the frame sides.

    2 x 2 Electric Through Frame Slide-Out Assembly (With Actuator) (https://support.lci1.com/documents/2...-with-actuator)

Bedroom slide is different where you hold the switch down for 3 to 5 seconds after the slide opens/closes
    Schwintek/In Wall https://support.lci1.com/in-wall-slide-out

    No limit switches.

Thanks Charles. Yes, absolutely I stop. Clicks I am ok with, this sounds like it is flying apart. Motor keeps running.

It's normal. The Schwintek bedroom slide will sound different as it uses a different technology for the slide.
