    Furnace Vent Screen?

Does anyone know the proper vent cover screen for the furnace vent on a 27RL?

Are you referring to the mud dauber screens? http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...furnaces/37390

Yes, I see several sizes on line and I am not sure what model fits.

The Atwood furnace has a single opening with the exhaust vent inside of the intake vent. I know that Atwood says not to put any type of screen over it as any restriction could cause lower combustion air flow. I used screens on our previous camper that had a Suburban furnace with separate intakes and exhaust vents but decided against that idea with the smaller vents with the Atwood.

I was just concerned about the bugs getting in. At our dealership they had a unit that had a fire from the dried up lady bugs that had entered the vent and caught fire when the furnace was used.

I'm thinking of adding them on my refrigerator. Already have them on the furnace and water heater. eBay sells them for about $30/set, 2 sets needed.
