TV or Antenna Problem
I am still trying to figure out if I have a tv or antenna problem, I can only receive about half of the channels I would normally receive at my current location. My motor home had a bat wing antenna and samsung tv my Imagin 2250RK Has The TCL tv and of course the King antenna. The scan feature works fine so does the antenna booster but I can only receive about half the channels I previously received. I have searched the forum but no real concrete solution. Anyone havea solution?

I purchased a signal meter that I use to make sure that the King Antenna is pointed in the direction of the stongest signals. It works pretty good.

Most of the time it's obstructions and distance. Some of the time it is VHF stations as most antenna have good UHF but terrible VHF reception.

When I got my GD with the King antenna, I noticed that it didn't pick up as many channels as the batwing on the prior fiver. In particular, the weakest channels were from where the antenna had to point to the AC unit next to it.
I do like not having to worry about leaving it up, but I still knocked it off with a limb.John and Jean

I also use the same meter, But recently found this APP that seems to be pretty good as well. So now I start with the APP then fine tune it with the meter. So far so good.

I have found that King antenna to be less sensitive than the previous antennas I had. Using an app to aim it will help point at the right transmitting antenna you want, and using a signal meter will help too. I figure that the bat wing won't last long on my rig until it gets replaced with a a Winegard Razar.
