Charging battery on 2020 2450 rl imagine

Found indoor storage. Has a 15 amp plug. Would like to keep battery charged. Have cords to change to 30 amp. Will that work? If battery is turned off will it still charge?

15A will work to charge your battery but it likely won’t charge if the disconnect switch is off.

Thank you i left it on as that seemed right but then you start questioning yourself. Coming from an rv with inverter and charger. First experience with a converter alone.

Correct. If the battery switch is in the off position the battery will NOT charge.

I would turn the power switch off and disconnect the battery. I've done that for 25 years with our boat. Disconnect the negative on the battery in October and connect it in April. Batteries are always fully charged. If the outlet you are plugged into trips your battery will be dead in 2 weeks.
