Jensen Radio AM not working
AM not working, My little lite is green, the tv, both of them work great. My FM on the Jensen works and sounds fine. I’m in the Louisville area and 84 WHAS is a major broadcaster in the East, yet I can barely even hear it and can pickup no others. Rotating the King antenna did not help. Have not pulled the radio out yet. Thoughts-ideas. TIA Oh, I do hear a little static on the AM.

These trailers are infamous for having bad cable connections. Even though your FM is working, since you'll likely have to remove the radio anyway check the cable connection on the back of the radio. Should be tight on the radio - finger tight plus 1/4 turn with a wrench - but the connector should also be firmly attached to the cable. Long shot, but maybe.
Pulling the radio is easy - plastic pieces on the two sides of the radio front slide away to reveal four screws.Mark - 2018 Solitude 310GK - 2017 F-350 diesel SRW short box - Pullrite Superglide hitch

I had the same issue with AM radio reception. I brought it up as a warranty issue with the dealership and they said the radio does not come with an AM antenna. Seems like a pretty trivial thing to leave out.

GD replaced the radio in my 2800bh for this issue and it still didn't work. I took it back in last week for another issue and asked them to look at it. They said one of their techs found in the menu that the frequencies were set in Russian (Huh ??). The rep said they tried to find it again in the menu but couldn't find their way in again but I now have AM.
I'll find out next week when I get it backNorb

Did you try it with everything else in the trailer off? Most AM radios made today are garbage. By their nature, AM receivers are sensitive to noise, so LED lights, converters or most any electronics can interfere. IMO, you’ll be happier if you forget the Jensen for AM and buy a C. Crane portable.
In the small world department, I grew up in Southern Indiana. My grandparents lived just outside of Palmyra. A good friend was from Corydon and I spent a lot of days fishing, hunting and carousing there. Jocko’s was one of my favorite eating spots, breakfast and lunch.John & Kathy

We have digital AM out here.
Jensen doesn't read it though.
We want to replace the Jensen with something else.
It's awful.
