Hah! I will when I get back down to Palm Springs in November. The new rig looks identical to the last one from the air- just shorter. The truck looks the same from the air as well - just 2 fewer tires :-)

To get this thread back on track - what inverter are you getting for the fridge? Is your dealer doing the electrical work for you?

Yes the same dealer I've bought all three trailers from is doing it. They are using the same inverter that GD uses on the factory installs but said they can source it locally much quicker, especially now. The trailer I looked at the install in was also getting the W/D and Onan installed at the same time. They said it was some family wanting to go off grid for weeks at a time. They took the Norcold out thru the main dining room slide window, said it took 4 big guys to get it out...weighs 300 pounds according to Norcold's site! The Samsung is 200 pounds so will take some weight off the heavy side of trailer.

We are not a good example as we we have 7-lithium batteries, so 700-ah but based on the amp draw of these residential refrigerators, I would have said prior to orbiker's post, you would be fine. Also, to give you piece of mind, you can check your battery level when you stop and if by chance your batteries get low enough to make you uncomfortable, you can always turn off the refrigerator as when kept closed you can drive hours and maintain and keep your food in good order.

I am on my second Norcold with my 2019 Momentum, and as soon as this Norcold starts fluctuating (and it will, no doubt), I am replacing with a Residential fridge. I am struggling with anyone being able to provide me the model number of the Samsung residential that will fit in our rigs. I see a lot of references to counter depth, meaning they are not as deep as others. If you could post the model number of your Samsung, that would be great. TIA!

That's the one I'm having installed as well. FYI you can order it from Lowes or Home Depot, usually on sale.

Hi Ken, I missed this post somehow. I may ask them about including these items on the inverter but I doubt I'd need it. I never really dry camp and would just need the inverter to run the fridge while towing. I always have the generator if I need 120v for a longer period of time.

Will the fridge really deplete the 2 house batteries while towing all day or does the truck keep them charged enough. My new truck has the dual alternators rated at 397 amps output but I'm sure not a lot of juice goes through the 7 pin connecter. Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated, I'm beyond excited to get the Samsung in and the Nev-r-cold out!
I towed from SELA to Central Fl over the course of 2 days and the refrigerator didn't deplete my batteries.
