    Recomendations

    Am picking up new Fifth wheel in a few weeks 303 rls. Have Ram3500 6-4 box. Puck system. Slider or not ?

    If you plan to back up at extreme angles, yes.

    definitely recommend the slider. we live at the end of a culdesac and can turn at the end. I did notice a lot of strain on the tires, so now I back all the way down the street to our house, feel my tires will last a whole lot longer.

    Definitely a slider. It is better to have and not need, then need and not have. There have been plenty of folks that said they didn't need a slider... only to later reverse their statements with a post their mistakes (blown windows & dented cab corners). I loved our Demco autoslider - didn't need to worry about it... it just did its thing. Downside of an autoslider is the weight ~ 300#+, but mine lived under a hard tonneau when not in use.
