Access under bathroom cabinet in 2250RK
Hi all,
I have a 2019 Imagine 2250RK, with the bathroom in the middle of the trailer and a pocket door on either side. (I've seen this same bathroom in the longest Imagine floorplan, so I know my model isn't the only one.)
I'm writing because I recently had a puddle of water near my living room slide, which I discovered was due to a leak in the bathroom sink. I fixed the leak, but mopping up all of the water is proving challenging. Because the water ran all the way to the living room slideout, I can safely assume there is water under the bathroom cabinet, which runs along the driver's side wall (left of the sink). That cabinet is raise a few inches off the floor, with paneling between me and whatever water is under there.
I unscrewed everything and tried wedging a screwdriver underneath the bottom paneling of the cabinet shelf to try to get under there, but it doesn't seem to want to come up, and I don't want to break it trying to mop up. I called Grand Design and the man I spoke to thinks I may have to take that entire cabinet fully apart to get under there, which to me is just not worth doing.
Has anyone with this same floor plan had a similar issue, and figured out a way to get underneath that bathroom cabinet bottom panel?
Thanks so much in advance!
Sarah

Have you considered making a door on the bedroom side. IN my unit I have a heat register in the bedroom wall that goes to a heat duct under the cabinet. You could do the same in the wall by the TV, Carefull cutting and a bit of trim work should make it look factory done. Or just use a heat register to cover the hole - good hiding place for stuff too.
