There is no noticeable difference in ride between an unloaded F250 and F350 IMO. Like other said - perhaps it had the heavy service front end or plow package. I wish I had listed to everyone telling me to skip the 3/4T diesel and go straight to the 1T diesel as the extra 1K# of weight from the diesel brings the 3/4T payload down to that of a 1/2T. When I bought the 17 F350 CCSB PSD, those same folks told me just go LB and I didn't listen then either. but I now have a 19 F450 CC PSD. All of my trucks have been my daily drivers. The F450 is by far my favorite and simply an awesome machine - the turning radius is better than a F250/350 CCSB. DRW's aren't for everyone, but ours was to future proof our next buy which will be a Momentum.

Picture isn't very good, been raining all day, but here she is.
Now a question about the hitch if I may. It has a 3" hitch, do folks use 3 to 2 1/2 plus 2 1/2 to 2 adapters or is there a 3 to 2 adapter out there somewhere? I went to tractor supply and got a 2/12 to 2 for now, to go with the 3 to 2 1/2 that came with the truck.
This thing is a beast compared to my little gas burner.2019 2970RL

Good looking truck. Not sure if they've changed things (Ford), but when I bought my truck new in 2016, my receiver had a sleeve installed in it to reduce the opening. Might be worth asking the dealer if they forgot to include that.

If the F250 comes with the "trailer tow package" which is what puts the 3in hitch on in place of the 2.5in... then it is supposed to come with a 3in x 2.5in reducer. It is usually under the rear seat, but if missing... then the dealer needs to provide it at vehicle delivery.
I ended up ditching the cheap Ford one, and went with a nice Curt set that includes the 3x2.5 and the 2.5x2. Very solid. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=12022 Momentum 351M-R

I have the 3 to 2 1/2 adapter that came with the truck, but all my extensions are 2 inch. Just wondering if most folks use 2 adapters to go down to 2” ,or if there is a single adapter to go from 3” to 2”. I’m concerned about too much “slop” with 2 adapters being used together.

Towing a heavy bumper pull... you are going to want to switch to 3in hitches. Less preferred, but using 2.5in hitches with one reducer would be better than having both of the reducers in a 3in hitch to get to 2in.. With anything less than a 3in, you will get wear and disfigurement of the pin holes over time due to the constant movement. Some posts in the forum on this subject.
