We have the 30K Mopar which someone above said was made by Curt. Ours was exactly the same way. I just lubed it and sprayed WD40 on the jaws as stated in the owners manual. Ever since it has worked quite easily.

We have an Anderson Ultimate hutch and it’s awesome. Super easy to connect, light weight, clean.

You did not mention what type of truck bed mount you have, if it is the puck system or just rails.
I have a 2019 Ford F250 and my trailer is the 337RLS Reflections. I have the Curt 20K PLUS I have the Flex AirRide king pin to match.
I'm 71 years with a bad back and a just recent right should reverse replacement. I could not or would not even want to attempt to remove my 5th hitch by hand. So therefore, I installed a chain hoist to the ceiling of my garage (alibi with a lot of 2x4 and 4x4 support in the attic) and all I have to do it back the truck under the chain hoist, use a plug made for the hitch (locks into the jaws like the king pin), put the hook in and raise it up about a foot. After I pull the truck out, I have a modified furniture dolly that is sits down in and then it is rolled to the side of the garage and no more worry!
The chain hoist also lifts my generator into the back of the truck bed if we decide to boondock as well
Let me know and I can send to some pics if interested in my setup!
