    Got A New TPMS.

I picked this up at the Tampa RV Super Show. I love it. At a glance I can see all 4 tire pressures or temperatures so I don't have to keep glancing at my display while it cycles.

I had a different brand that I used with my last RV and then my current rig but the display was hard to read in the sunlight and I had to wait for it to cycle to see all 4 tires' information.

Since I have a factory TPMS on my truck and since Ford thinks their add-on accessory for trailer TPMS should be hard wired I got this system. It even comes with a repeater (which I wired to my bedroom closet light).

Upon turning it on you can reset it and it will refresh the info in less than 10 minutes. I turn it on first thing in the morning on travel days and by the time I'm ready to start connecting for travel it has the current temps.

Hi there! I'm going thru the search function looking for latest TPMS info. Thanks for the tip on the i10. I was leaning towards the TST 507 but this one seems a good candidate too. Anyone else care to chime in on their experiences w/ the i10? Thanks!

Just one more note about that TireMinder I10... it is a new product that just came out in the first quarter of this year, so there might not be a lot of folks using it.

Some folks don't like them but I've always been a Tire Minder fan - been through a couple of systems on a couple of Fivers.

I do have the system that has the signal booster (I'm really LONG) and is tied into my phone for the display.

    Hi Mark,

Where did you install your booster? I just bought the A1A unit for our M399th, and am trying to figure out where to mount the booster and pickup 12vdc.

    TIA!

    Chuck,

I mounted it in the front bay above the batteries against the back wall and tied into the 12V system right there - works well since it's in between the RV and the truck. I did go with the system that I can use my phone as the monitor.

    Thank you sir!

I was hoping that was where you'd installed it, as that's where I'm thinking of putting mine. The manual says to install it outside, and I was concerned it may not work in the battery bay.

I'm assuming yours works fine in there?

It does and I installed a switch to turn it off when not in use. The only real issue I have is changing batteries and minimizing corrosion on the sensors. I have 16 of them....

    16 is a lot!

I'm thinking of a fused cigarette lighter power setup instead of a switch. Not sure yet. It depends on what a search of Home Depot yields.
