Discovered How To Simmer on Fusion Stove Top.
A friend alerted me to this...
Once you light a burner on these Furion stoves you can back off the knob toward the off direction (between HIGH and OFF) and the flame will get lower than if you turn the burner knob to LOW.
It works. We just haven't used it lately (curtesy of Corona19). But we'll still carry our simmer plate as discussed here.Larry KE4DMG

Thanks, Larry,
I just put one in my cart. At home, I’m using an Instant pot insert rack (for steaming) on my stove to simmer slower than the lowest setting. Good to have options.

I wouldn’t do this because at such a low flame the slightest breeze from an open window or even so much as someone walking by would likely blow the flame out, and the gas would continue coming out. There is no safety feature on these Furrions that prevents it.
I can see some really bad accidents happening doing this.

Agreed. Even on the low setting that seems to happen. And if you run the oven and try to use the stove top you have to be careful that the air blowing out of the rear vents doesn't blow a low frame out.
Argh.... drat those stove top burners!
I checked. There is no good gas-top alternative to fit that foot print. We may be changing over to induction soon. My DW would like that if no other reason than it is easy to clean. oh - and she gets new cookware.Larry KE4DMG

Thought someone posted on here that if you remove the knob, there is an adjustment screw back on the burner to adjust flame height...im gonna try that pne day this week and post it up. On mine the front burnwr is the one too high, so i have to use the back two to go to low heat
