We have a 31' Open Range with a 15,000BTU air and have camped out in the open sun a couple of times and the trailer never got under 80 degree's all day long! The air is working correctly and most time do not have problems, but it is no fun when your trailer is hot all day. Summers the south can be brutal!

Too bad you could not get GDRV to leave the bolt on ladder off in the factory, it does seem like a simple to accommodate request. On the other hand there are lots of TTs out there in the around 34’-6” length and under 12’ height. The other thing I’d look for is something with dual pane windows. R40 in the ceilings with pretty much R0 in the typically expansive windows allows cool/warm air transfer. Dual panes can lower the duty cycles of AC or furnace. In your case it sounds like keeping the unit cool might be the bigger challenge. Good luck with your search.
