I just bought a Westinghouse 2500 (2200 running watts). I use a 20amp adapter to my 30amp rv cord. It runs my 15.5K without a soft start.

There's no such thing as a 15.5k ac unit.
    There is a 13.5k and a 15k.
The 15k is in the 220RK.
    I have the same model.
Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.

I negotiated the new AC when I bought my 220RK. My rig was used (8 months old) when I bought it. The discount for getting it used allowed me to add some components I would not have if purchased new.

I was still correct, GD doesn’t use Furrion roof units on the 220RK.
He obviously left out the fact that he bought his used then replaced the unit. Go figure

We have a 2500RL Imagine. Would like to power refrigerator, lights, water pump, and most importantly, my wifes hair dryer. Running the A/C is not a priority as we seldome use it even when hooked up.
    I would welcome any input

BogeyBoyNevada, I have a Champion 3400W Dual Fuel inverter/generator. I've been happy with it so far. It should work fine for you. I've had the Honda's before & they are also nice. In my opinion, the Honda is quieter than the Champion, but the Champion is still pretty quiet. The Hondas also seem more expensive than the Champions. Good luck! -Diego
