AC Softstart modules

I am familiar with the Micro-Air unit but unless I missed it there is a new kid on the block. SoftstartRV, Anyone familiar with this unit? Priced relatively the same but it is being highly promoted in the past month or so.

This is the first I've heard of this. It looks exactly like the MicroAir except I thought the MicroAir also cycled the fan on first and then the compressor. I didn't see that mentioned in the SoftStart.

I think you can find a discount code for the MicroAir by searching around a bit which make the pricing similar. Personally i'd stick with the know kid on the block who has been around longer.

I didn't know about this one and looked into it. It is wired into the A/C the same so I would conclude it's basically the same limiting current to the motor start and run circuts. I've also been looking at a Surestart softstart module as I'm interested in it for my house A/C unit. The softstartRV installation video on Utube is a joke compared to MicroAir. Their web site instructions are better but do not match their Utube video debacle. I am assuming that the latest instructions. are currently on their website, hopefully. I will let everyone know as to how the install went.
