I'm assuming that the Solar Prep just provides the Jaboni roof port and the 10 Awg wire.

Here is the roof port. I measured 0.6 ohms after tying the 2 wires together. The cover that is flipped up goes away (storage) after hooking up my panels, which are still tbd. Hope this helps the OP and others here with the solar prep.

I think calling that a strike is a little immature. A foul maybe.

So back to the topic. Looks like I'm set for a controller and panels, still need to order some though.
Just wondering what folks have done to accommodate a second battery in a clever fashion. Not sure I want to replicate the setup there as it would require me to cut a rectangular hole nearby and maybe weaken the floor up there.
Open to suggestions with maybe tying into the current vent tube.

The hole is a stupid idea GD came up with to save space. The floor is already weak as it is thin sheet metal with no bracing.
Most of us that have extra batteries covered up the hole then put a piece of 3/4” plywood down to spread the weight of additional batteries across the floor.

Grandesigner, I have a 240 RL and I too cut a piece of 3/4 inch plywood and placed over the existing battery box hole. I mounted my two 6 volt golf cart batteries in a NOCO battery box. I cut the top and bottom vent ports off of the oem battery box and using a hole saw and Gorilla glue attached one to the lid of the NOCO box lid and the other through the plywood over the existing rectangular hole. Then I cut a few inches off the vent hose and re-attached. I am very happy with it. I will try to get a picture to add tomorrow.
