    Things happen Fast

Well we weren't expecting our Solitude 379 FL to arrive until Feb. But our salesman called last Wednesday and said it had arrived. So we ran out to the lot this morning to check it out. Its a little dirty from the road trip, but it looks really good. Tom (our salesman) said they have a full crew that will detail it inside and out. we walked through it and around it and saw nothing to be concerned about. We are scheduled to go down to the lot on Monday the 19th. at 9:00 am to do our walk through and hand them a check. since our truck cant pull it and we don't have room at home to park it, it will stay at the lot until mid march when we will have it towed up to our property where it will stay. But we have been assured we can go visit any time they are open.
we will start taking our stuff a little each weekend and loading it up. I looked at the vin tag and the manufacture date is December 2015, the frame tag is also December 2015. It has the heated theater seats, the strut on the front door, and a back up camera installed. (witch we had no idea) but since we wont be hauling it around it wont get used. We will be going over every inch of this thing and looking for any problems since it is sitting at their lot, easy to have things fixed. Sure looking forward to spending some time in it and cant wait to get it up to our property.

Not going to have any warranty issues LOL, Have a good friend with a F350 super duty that is pulling it up to our property for us. Being a mechanic for the last 31 years i am hoping to take care of any issues myself with the help of GDs great customer service. If need be I will document any problems and bring the trailer down in late fall and they can have it over the winter.

Congrats on the camper. We love ours. If you don't want/need the camera and monitor and it's the furrion, I would purchase it from you for a discounted price?

GD350M, Ill check it out when we do our PDI. On Saturday when we were looking the trailer over our salesman pointed out the backup camera at the top of the rear of the trailer.I don't think he knew it would be there and neither did we. There was not a monitor in the trailer and no paper work in the bag of manuals about the camera. I will get more details next week. I would guess one would need a monitor in their truck to hook it to.

Thanks. But from what you've explained to me is the same as what I have. It's been prewired for camera and that's just the furrion mounting bracket you see as we have that as well. It looked like the camera until I looked at it closer. But if it is the camera and monitor, that would be awesome.

Probably doesn't apply to you but make sure they thoroughly clean the frame before you take delivery so that it doesn't start to rust. Especially true if it was driven on any roads that may have had salt on them.

Congratulations Dave & Darlene. We love our 379FL. We picked ours up from General RV the first week of November. We got to use it once before putting it away for the winter. Can't wait for spring.
