    Flickering and dim LED Light

I have a 2018 grand design imagine 2950 RL and the bathroom light fixture flickers and has since I bought it, but has become particularly annoying of late and seems dimmer. Does anyone know how to remove the fixture to replace or troubleshoot it? I’m not sure what I’m looking for if I do take it down, but I wouldn’t mind getting a brighter light in there, girl troubles 😉, and if anybody knows a great fixture to replace it with please let me know.

I believe they are the Puck lights at least mine are. You can order them on Amazon. They are not expensive. The LED light is likely defective.

I have a 2020 5th Wheel Reflection. One of the Puck lights in the bedroom just started to flicker. I removed the assembly and noted the light fixture and manufactured by Dream Lighting and the PN is 0016284CW. It uses two spring released clips to hold it in place in the ceiling. You mentioned that you found these Puck lights on Amazon. Can you refer me to the part number you found on Amazon? I have searched and can't find it.

I saw flickering Facon 4.5" RVR4HN-35 LED lights mentioned several times lately.
There are some 4.5" and 3" lights used in the various models.

I couldn't find the Dream Lighting PN 0016284 either online.

There are a couple more 4.5" lights that may work.

All of our bedroom ceiling lights and most of our main ceiling lights have failed. Two of our replacement lights have also failed. Grand Design sent us some replacements but we've run out and they are now asking us to take our RV to the dealer to have it looked at. That's not going to happen as we are full time now. Not fun but if this is biggest issue we have, it's no big deal. They are very easy to replace.

I am not sure the lights are 4.5 inch. I thought they were 3 inch. Though, I admit, that I have not measured them.

Anyway, here are a couple of Amazon links for 3 inch replacement LED lights:

    Single 3 inch replacement:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NBR0OAQ...v_ov_lig_dp_it

Six pack of 3 inch replacement lights:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XR85Y7B...v_ov_lig_dp_it

Please be aware that when you replace your LED lights, the color of the new light may be different from your existing lights. From what I have seen, Grand Design uses LED lights that are very white, denoted as "cool white" or "daylight", these have "Color Temperatures: around 5,000 (degrees Kelvin). The links above are for lights that are more "yellow" (like normal lights in your home), these lights are referred to as "warm white" lights. Warm lights have "Color Temperatures" closer to 3,000 (degrees Kelvin).

For reference; a normal, incandescent, light bulb has a Color Temperature of around 2,700 (degrees Kelvin).

Also note: the above 3 inch lights are also available in cool white (5,000 degrees Kelvin).

Useful Factoid: the "Color Temperature" of light is determined by heating Tungsten to a specific temperature, the Tungsten begins to glow, and the temperature is measured (in degrees Kelvin) as the Tungsten gets hotter the color of the glowing Tungsten moves from yellow to white and then into blue. The color of the Tungsten at various temperatures becomes the "Color Temperature" of light. Consequentially, an incandescent bulb will give off a yellowish glow (2,400 degrees Kelvin) and a fluorescent bulb will give a whiter light (5,000 degrees Kelvin), some lights even move into the blue color spectrum (7,000 degrees Kelvin).

The larger mousetrap lights are 4.5 inch but they have a 2.5 inch base to fit in the ceiling hole.
    Only the QAl will fit.

Other mfgs need a bigger ceiling hole they don't fit.

We've only been able to find 3" and even though it's reads Cool White in the part number, they are warm white.
We're currently using 3" in the place of the 4.5". They aren't as bright, but they work somewhat and are a different shade.
