Thanks to all for the replies. Sounds like turning on the lights and adding some brighter accent rug, bed spread and otehr stuff will help to warm it up considerably. We really are in l love with the Reflection in every other way and are not deterred because of this.

90% of the 5th wheel cabinets are darker than the Reflections.

Most are on a dark cherry kick, and darker than the maple.

We've now looked at many others and you guys are correct. Most are darker AND the GD finish is growing on us. helps to have the lights on and some accent rugs, etc.

In case you have to make repairs to the wood, I understand Minwax Hickory stain will match GD's color perfectly.
