New Reflection Owner during Pandemic
So I was planning a trip to Indonesia in March for vacation. In late February I realized that wasn't a good idea, so went to alternate plan of travel within California to do some serious photography. Just by coincidence, the Shelter in place order hit on my first day of vacation. So spent the entire vacation "sheltering" at home. Bummer.
The week before the lock-down my wife convinced me to buy a 5th wheel, so we bought a new 2019 Reflection and decided to store it for a couple weeks while we shopped for a truck and wrapped up some other details. With all the restrictions it's been difficult to follow the plan, so the trailer is still in storage, though we visit regularly to stock it up. I'm looking for a 3 or 4 year old truck, an F350 SRW diesel, or similar. This is our first time with a 5th wheel, though we had a travel trailer for a few years and then a motor home. With the travel trailer I learned my lesson about having "enough" truck.
So for now, no traveling. But soon it will be safe to do so, with prudent cautions like wearing a mask around other people. We may not ever return to the "normal" that we knew up until a few months ago, but as long as I can buy fuel and find campgrounds or at least dump stations, the open road will be my friend again.
Current issues, besides finding a truck, are deciding on solar vs small generator vs both. Thinking of a supplemental bed fuel tank.
Any suggestions are of course welcome.
Lets all be safe, but not intimidated. Happy travels.

Hi and welcome to the forum! What floor plan did you get? We've enjoyed our 303 for about 5 years now.
We have a portable solar set up , but our requirements are fairly small so only 100 watts keeps us going. We do also have a small generator to take along as a back up if we're going to be out long term
I'm going to move your post to the general tech section where hopefully you will get more ideas or suggestions.
