Lock for Pullrite Superlite?
Hello all,
I am new to this forum and new to the world of Grand Design. I am about to take delivery of a 2020 Reflection 31MB and got my hitch, the pullrite superlite, in the mail today and set everything out for install. One thing I didn't think about when I was making the decision on what hitch to go with, was a lock for when my trailer is sitting in storage. A few google searches, and I'm drawing a blank on a solution to lock the ball of the adapter plate. Anyone here have the Superlite hitch and what do you use to lock it up?
Thanks in advance!

Very MacGyver - good idea! If you use the shortest possible lock that will fit through the coupler, you minimize the possibility of getting bolt cutters on it. Most locks just encourage thieves to move on to the next location, anyway. Bolt cutters wouldn't have any effect on my kingpin lock, but I'm sure a determined miscreant could figure something out.

You've now got me thinking. My Superlite just came in for my 28bh and I might look into this too. Although, I would almost think having the kingpin adapter on would act like a lock. A thief that only steals 5er's with Superlite hitches is really narrowing his/her market.

If you’re wanting to secure the king pin this looks like an affordable solution.

I use one of these: https://www.amazon.ca/BAL-25020-King.../dp/B00076WQD6. It’s made to lock a tripod but works with the pullrite plate.

Pullrite 2400
The problem with the kingpin adaptor from pullrite is no matter what you put around the ball to lock all you have to do is take out 2 bolts and the whole thing comes off to expose the kingpin. I have put coupler locks on 3 of the quick release pins on rails and 2400 so that’s secure. Need to chain the adaptor ball to the camper I guess unless they come up with a lock for there equipment
Re-pack bearings necessary?
