Thermostat problem or heater issue?

Heater won't come on, thermostat reads 99 . A/c comes on, I can't get the 99 changed. Any ideas please. It's our first time out with a new 295rl

Take the cover off. A lot of them have manufacturer defects and they touch the internal relays and stuff.

Tried that, pulled fuse from thermostat, no change

Make sure it says “auto” when you set it to cool.

Sorry if I've confused everyone, the issue is the thermostat is reading the ambien cabin temp as 99.therefore heat wont come on and a_/c won't shut off. Anyway to reset the thermostat ?

If it’s the Dometic model there should be a user manual on their website.
