    Wheel splash guard

    Hello ,

    Just bought a 2017 - Reflection 337 RLS . The unit is like new except the slash guard wheels contour. Not sure what causes the whitening on the brown. Wax ? Anyone had to clean or restore in new condition?

    It's probably scratches and delamination of the clearcoat.

    Do a good scrub to get loose bits off then a mineral spirit wipe down. Get a can of Plasiticote to finish them off and reinstall. The Plasicote can be peeled off if you don't like it or change your mind.

    I have read that regular pencil eraser get rid of wax on porous plastic. I will try this.

    I have a 2018 Reflection 29rs and it does the same thing. I think it is just the sun that causes it. I just wash well and then wipe with Armor all or something similar and its as good as new..... for awhile.
