    Got the Westlakes balanced...

Well I wanted metal valves stems for my new tpms sensors so I figured while they were mounting them why not have them balanced. I’m kinda impressed. 3 of the tires only took one 15-20g weight, and one took a 35g weight. That’s not too bad. I’m still planning on replacing them with GY’s next year.

We did the same thing last year. We ran them for the first year with no issues but I was anal about tp and inspections after reading all the stuff about them. Have several big trips this year and replaced ours with the GY's a few weeks ago. We started one trip last week and I'm relieved as there is no longer that big worry about tearing up our slides from a blow out.

I take it you have a higher load range, those seem to be the more troublesome ones. Good call on the Goodyear’s.

Yes, the E rated versions. Read a lot of posts on here, and spoke to a few folks who've been running them. All of them spoke well of them, and they were holding up well.
Just decided that before we started to get out I'd just pull the Westlakes off and not have anything hanging over my head.
I think the metal valve stems were a good call on your end too.
