    Shower Door Rubber Closure Thing

We have an ordinary corner shower, the two curved doors pull to the center to close. The two knobs are chromed, circular, knobs maybe an 1-1/4in to 1-1/2in in diameter. There's a rubber piece fastened behind the knob on the right and a loop of rubber you slip over the knob on the left. The rubber broke.

Does anyone know a source for this, or a proper name I can use to search the internet? "Rubber thingy" has not been successful.

    Thanks in advance

You'll find it under "Plumbing" on the parts look up. We ordered 3 of them, since we had to pay for shipping to the dealer. GD wouldn't send/sell them directly to us. They weren't very expensive, so it seemed like a good idea to get 3 since we had to pay the minimum shipping.

A dealer can order them and have them shipped directly to you rather than the dealership. I did that to have a decal shipped to my house.

Yeah, I read of that happening. We'd still have to pay the shipping. It's moot, anyway, my dealer doesn't give us that option. We only buy stuff through them that we have to.

No need to use your dealership. I’m in Florida, bought our trailer from a Florida dealer but I used a dealership in Ohio to order my decal. One quick phone call and they took care of it. Here’s his email confirmation that the decal was ordered. It arrived at our house a week later.

My GD dealer had them in stock luckily. I saw they sell it on Amazon too. The one I found said it was for a Keystone but it looks pretty darn close to the ones in GD. The shower doors are probably the same regardless of the manufacturer so good chance it's the same shower door travel strap. Check Amazon if you can't get one from a dealer.

    Use a hair scrunchie.

There is a magnetic strip on both doors to help seal, and really all you need is something to keep the doors from sliding.

Much cheaper and you can color coordinate....LOL

2 hair rubber bands hooked together is our replacement. Easy to replace if they break.
