    Norcold frig just quit

OK... we've been set up in a campground since Mon afternoon & the fridge in our 2 month old 303 worked fine until this afternoon. We noticed it was not on & tried to start it again, (on A/C power) but the control panel buttons didn't respond at all. I reset the breaker, pulled & checked the fuse. Checked the back of the unit, but could not see anything obvious or loose wiring. Tried unpluging from the pedestal & switching off the battery disconnect switch, then turning back on & plugging in again. Fridge is still dead. Everything else in the coach works fine.

Anyone have some insight as to what I may have overlooked? I'll be calling Norcold or the dealer tomorrow, but anything I should look at in the meantime?

    Thanks

There's a 110 plug in the back of the frig - did you check to see if that was plugged in securely?

Hmmm... do you have a VOM to check for 12 volts at the back of the frig. If you have no display on the front, it's either that 12 volts aren't getting to the back of the frig or the controller board is bad.

Is this a 4 door fridge? What model?
If a 4 door go to the back and look for a black module mounted to the back - is there a red ight on? Did you get a lot of rain? If it got wet it will dry out shortly and start to work again. If there is not possibility it got wet and the red light is on there is a reset procedure - google it, with a magnet just keep in mind the light comes on when it's doing it's job. All of this is if this a 4 door......

    Let me know....

If your display is out, it is definitely circuit board or 12 volt.

The circuit board needs 12 volt to function.

Good morning all. Thanks for the replies. Double checked the red LED on the back of the fridge & it is out. I'm assuming it is a 12v issue, but we'll just get thru the next couple of days with bags of ice & give a call to set up service at the dealer. I've got another warranty issue for them to deal with, so hopefully can get both done at the same time.
    Appreciate the help!!

I’d suspect you may be close to learning an unpleasant lesson in RV ownership. It very well could be months before you can get your rig in for service this time of year. Many people just fix things themselves and eat the cost rather than do without the rig for as long as service can take.
