Other variables to activate cooling fans on absorption refrigerator?

Last year, I replaced the small outside thermostat that activates the cooling fans that are located below the fins. I replaced the factory thermostat with one that activates the fans at a lower temp. I also put two fans at the bottom blowing air up towards the fins, these run 24/7. My refrigerator has been staying below 34 but i haven't heard the main fans come on. So I attempted to blow hot air on the sensor with a hair dryer and i still could not get the main fans to activate. So are there other variables that need to be meet for the main fans to come on other than outside temp?

    No that is it....

You may have list 12Volt power to the fans....some have a a separate in line fuse..make sure the fuse did not get blown....
Try jumping across the sensor connectors to see if the fans run.

I crossed the wires and the fans didn't come one. The sensor works, tested it with a multimeter and hot water. I couldn't find a fuse for the fans.

I am just guessing here because I don't know what fridge you have....on a lot of them, the fuse is in it's own holder in some wiring near you circuit board on the back. If your able, trace the wire up to the fan. If you can test the wire for 12 Volt that would be even better than searching for it. Doubtful but could be the fans - seen it before....

Thanks for the reply. It's a 2019 4 door dometic. I doubt to that the fans are bad this early in their life. I'll try to find the fuse again. I noticed that the inside fins were dripping condensation out the back. Wondering if defrost mode would stop the fans from starting.

Do you have the model #...most do not have a defrost mode.

I might have missed it - did you check to see that there is 12v at the fans?

I found the red and black wires coming down from the fans. Black goes to a ground , and the red goes to what looks like a black switch box (pictured finger pointing at it). The connection that it connects isn't hot 24/7. The one to the left in the picture is hot and turns on the fans when i touch it to the lead. I believe there is something else that has to be triggered , not just the thermostat at the top for the factory fans to kick on. I will find out in a couple of weeks when we go east for vacation. My finger is covering up the red wire, it looks black but that is a different wire.
