Honda EU3000i Handi Generator review and comments

I was looking for a forum topic area for portable generators, and this one seems to be the best place.

I recently purchased a Honda EU3000i Handi generator and added a web page with my review and comments. The page also shows a hitch mounted cargo carrier that I purchased from 1UpUSA to transport the generator.

While the EU3000i Handi may not work for many RVers, it seems to be a bit of a hidden gem in the Honda quiet series models.

Wow thank you for the link!! I too have this generator, actually the EU 3000is and it works great for an RV. It will run the 15K a/c unit and all the other
electrical stuff at once. It will not however run both a/c units at once. It's quiet and runs all night on a single tank. I have been looking for a nice rack
to carry it on the hitch on my Reflection. Thanks!!

I've had a Honda EU3000 for about 6 years. Great generator! Quiet and does what I need it to do.

Note that there are two versions of the EU3000 generator:

EU3000iS which weighs 131 lbs dry and has an electric starter



and the

EU3000i Handi which weighs 78 lbs dry and has a recoil start only (which I reviewed on my webpage)
