XLS 23BHS...battery questions
Good morning again
I am brand new to the RV community so bear with me here...
I purchased my new TT and the dealership gave me one 12V battery (it's a green Interstate battery).
Should I purchase another battery? If so, it is easily mounted next to the existing one (behind the tongue jack)? Should I buy the same Interstate battery that's already there?
Should I upgrade to lithium?
What are your thoughts?
Thank you!!

If you are new to RVing, I would recommend getting through a season or 2 before upgrading to lithium, they are a little pricey. Well worth it if you boondock a lot, maybe not if you don't. Half way through my first season I purchased a 2nd 12V battery, real easy to connect in series. Just my $0.02.

Rob,
Thanks, my bad. They are hooked up correctly to double the capacity @ 12V, I just said it wrong.

You probably have a Group 24-size battery. I think two G24 batteries will fit in the tray. I had dual G29 batteries and had to make another tray mounted on top of the frame rails. I've since switched to dual golf cart batteries that fit in the stock location. We don't dry camp enough to justify lithiums but I do have 200W of portable solar panels and a generator.
