    Folding Dinette Chairs

Has anyone removed 2 of the dinette chairs and replaced them with wooden folding chairs? Many manufacturers now include 2 folding chairs in place of 2 regular chairs and we would really like to do that but would like to find something that sort of matches. We never carried all 4 chairs in our last rig but like the idea of 2 folding wooden chairs for the occasion someone eats in with us.

As a side note we were a little surprised at how narrow the dining table is. At first we thought it was just our imagination but it is definitely narrower than the table in our last 5th wheel.

    Thoughts and recommendations?

Our last travel trailer didn't have a dinette, and we always carry a nice card table and 4 folding chairs. You never know who'll show up to eat--especially when it's cold or raining.

We ordered the 2015 323BHS with the SuperSofa option which did away with the dinette. Modern families seldom sit together at meals anyway. And the SuperSofa came with a 4' folding table that goes in front of the SuperSofa.

    Go for the folding chairs.

Well after weeks of online shopping we finally settled on these folding wooden chairs we found at Bed Bath and Beyond. The wood is darker than the existing chairs but it will definitely work. Heck, they only come out on the rare occasion someone is eating or playing games with us. They store under the bed nicely. Oh, $49 less 20% apiece so you can't beat the price.

The other 2 original chairs are now wrapped in packing blankets and up in storage.

I saw the same chair last night at Costco. I didn't catch the price, however.

They also had really nice card table chairs with cloth bottoms for $14.95.

We keep a nice card table and set of chairs for company and/overflow.

Thanks for the heads up. Our friends Montana came with two regular chairs and two folding chairs. I've been suffering from folding chair envy ever since.
