Get yourself an electric throw blanket.
They use very little power and work WAY better.

I took a piece of 1 1/2" foam and cut it to the cupholder size then glued it to a piece of 1/4" hardboard that covers the buttons. One day I will cover them with fabric to match, but it keeps me and the dogs from pressing the buttons yet is still easy to access when we want to.

Do all the new models glow in the dark? All the LED lights in everything, is there a way to turn them all off and still be able to use whichever appliance you want? I really don't want night lights all over a new unit if we get one

This is exactly what I did on my 337RLS. Works perfectly and simply flip the switch when you need it. Another bonus is that I was able to install a six foot usb cord to the power cord and now I can charge my phone while sitting in the chair as well.

I used one of those wireless remote switches. Simply plug the switch into the wall outlets and the cords for the recliners into the switch. You don't need to mount the push button. Just use it as a remote and turn off the recliners when not in use. There was another thread on this if you want to do a search. This is the one I used but plenty of different ones available. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That's perfect! I will do that little mod this weekend, have the cord at home. My little 4 yr old grandson is a born button pusher so I'll see how long it takes him to figure out the extension cord button lol.

The buttons on the Thomas Payne theater seats in our 2020 Solitude are on the insides of the outside armrests. They are exposed and extremely touchy. My wife is the one who sits in these seats and likes the heaters, so I just unplugged the connectors in the back for the footlights and the vibrators. She's very happy, now.
