TV Brand Necessary for RV
I am planning on installing a wall mount TV in the bedroom of our 337rls, and in searching for the best brand to use I discovered that a typical household unit may not be the best choice as the TV should be able to handle vibration and tempature extreems. I have a locking wall mount bracket. Wondering if there are any brand recommendations, or if it really matters.

I have heard the same but don't think there is any truth to it. I have always bought whatever TV I wanted and mounted it in my trailer. I have never had an issue. Same with blue-ray players, soundbars, etc.

We've had a Samsung smart TV, Blue Ray player and soundbar in our Momentum almost since we got it, that's over 3 years and about 16k miles, it's still going strong and works great.

Samsung tv in the bedroom for 5 years and anoother in the Living area for 2. We aren't in freezing temps so don't know how the freeze that would affect the televisions.

It does not matter. I can tell you that Jensen RV TVs are made side-by-side with a residential brand and parts are interchanged! It's a marketing ploy. I've seen several RV manufacturers using TCL, LG, and Hisense (sp?), which are all residential. Personally, I replaced the Jensen in our last camper with a full Samsung setup (LED TV, soundbar, Bluray) and it all lived there for 4 years and now this setup resides in our 3350RL's bedroom.

Like most have said use any brand. I prefer Samsung but they are all solid state and will hold up. I personally hate the TLC that came with mine and will replace. Some RV TVs are powered by 12 volts which means you can run it off your battery if you have a 12 volt socket nearby. So its your choice but look into a good locking mount so it wont swing around when moving.
