Anyone add a second water pump switch in a 2500RL?
Having the water pump switch in the main cabin area of the 2500RL makes sense, but if you make a short restroom stop its inconvenient to have to open the back door to get to it. I think it would not be hard to add a second switch (just need the positive side of the circuit) in the bathroom somewhere. Has anyone done this, and if so, what route did you take for the wires ? Other suggestions?
Thanks in advance, Bob2020 imagine 2500rl; 2021 F250 Tremor 7.3

There are several threads on this, some using fancy electronics to tie all the switched together. I hope to keep it simple. So try a search on the topic.
I will be doing my own version shortly. The existing switches are 3 way as the one at the docking station is tied to the one in the cabin. I plan to add a third in the bath. However I also wan to know if the others are on. I am a couple of week out.2018 Reflection 150 Series 220RK 5th wheel with 6K axle upgrade. Here's what a motorhome uses. 30 bucks and you need to also buy momentary switches to make it work.

Thanks for the feedback powerscol and agpopp. Yes I did read a few other threads on this topic, none specific to the model I'm looking at (in fact not sure any are specific to imagine trailers), so mostly I was hoping someone might have some good ideas on the wire routing. The electrical part of this is pretty straight forward, but when it comes to cutting into the wall I want to pick the best option. I think what I can do on the 2500rl is to go down into the basement from the cabinet under the sink, and then its a fairly short run to the pass-through/console where the pump is, I imagine there is an entry to that console for wires somewhere (have not dropped the belly cover to check though). Since the hardest part of this is probably the labor to drop the belly, it probably makes sense to go ahead and do it right , using the controller linked above (thanks Agpopp) and a few momentary switches. Need to find one that can replace the switch by the main entry door cleanly.

What I plan to do is check for existing wiring going to the basement (use same path). On my unit the vent stack is in the wall behind the toilet and I know there is a clear shot below. I have not checked the wall the bath light switch is in, but will soon. I don't want to be drilling new holes. Hopefully tomorrow I will start the investigation. Need to clear out the basement first - need to sort and re-tub my items. Remove basement wall and identify pump wiring/light wiring and what does what. My switch has an independent light and I am hoping I can wire the current light into it so I know when pump is already on, and find a good power source (hopefully at power panel) to power the pump through the new switch. A little head scratching, a few diagrams. and if the Force is with me a simple solution. Bottom line is I don't want to disturb the existing water pump wiring, just add a third switch the power the pump and if possible know at the existing locations the pump is on.
More later

I was guessing the small switches in the main panel had cutouts ~.75" x .5"
If so maybe this momentary e-switch might fit.
