2020 Solitude s class 2930RL-R nose accent lighting

We turned on our accent light in the nose this weekend and only 1/2 of the "smile" came on. I am still under warranty, but would like to see if I can fix the problem. Anyone have any problems with these string leds?

If you search the forum, you'll find it is a common problem. Search forums of other brands and you'll find the same. No doubt a common supplier of so-so quality. You can DIY by buying better weather-rated LED strips from a reputable reseller, but GD will definitely take care of the repair too.
