Solid step installation, problem with left leg

I installed a solid step last night on my 295. What I found was the left leg was impossible to pull out by hand. The right leg worked as expected. I do not see any damage on the step from shipping. Does this just need some lube on it? Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, what was the solution?

Try some dry graphite lube on it.

You don't want anything on it that is wet or sticky to attract dirt.

I have gotten the steps installed and fixed. I wanted to post the solution in case someone else ran into the problem. I tried the dry lube and that did not work, the leg on the left was still very tight. I figured it was bent so I started to loosen the housing for the leg. When I broke the bolt, the leg sprung free. I think someone over torqued the leg during the manufacturing process. I got the leg fixed, the system is now installed with backer plate. I left the long bolts in because we may uninstall them and put the assist lift kit on it. But we wanted to camp without it first to see if necessary. I think I will be installing the lift assist kit because the dear wife has problem lifting the steps.
