    Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation

Just purchased a used 2014 Ford F250 Lariat Super Duty 4X4 diesel with a standard bed. I have a 2019 Reflection RS29. Can i ses a standard fifth wheel hitch or do I need a slider? I had previously pulled with a 2003 GMC 2500 HD Duramax standard bed without a slider.

    Thank you for input.

You wouldn’t need a slider with that trailer unless you really suck at backing in. That trailer is only 3’ longer than mine.

I have basically the same truck, here’s a review of my hitch and some tips on the install.

I'm actually quite good at backing up, don't try to get any tight angles. That link looks to be a slider hitch, so you do use a slider or not?

It is a slider hitch, but I thought I mentioned in the review, at the end that I've never once needed it.
I wish I'd gotten the regular B&W and I'd have about a foot more bed space.
