Can you do us a favor and try and take another picture behind there, but this time take a picture of the bracket at the wall side.

    Hi Julie,

Your posted picture came through . . . and I have to admit that it looks like these bolts go through the brackets and into the TV. But, as mentioned earlier in this thread, this would be a difficult assembly operation for GD. I wonder if these bolts are holding the keyhole sockets that the TV studs fit into ??

from how it appears the screws are in the the bracket going to the wall, they in fact mounted this tv with the bracket already on the tv. Looks like they used a drill and screwed it in at an angle to hang it. Now to figure out how we are going to remove this so not to destroy anything.

Looking hard at the pictures you so graciously provided for us, it looks like you have maybe 4 "L" style brackets on the TV and the top ones were mounted second. It also appears that GD mounted this TV twice as I see holes in the wall just under the top brackets. So I think one would have to remove the top 4 screws going into the wall and then use a hand screw driver and unscrew the bottom 4 screws from under the TV. Then you can take this off the wall. Now you maybe able to use a power drill if you have a long enough extension to get to the bottom screws. Use a square head bit, probably #02 square head bit. Don't use the phillips head as this might strip your screw heads. After you get this brackets loose, you should have the TV stand under you bed or somewheres in the unit. I would put the TV back on the TV stand until you figure out how you want to mount the new TV.

    I hope this helps you.

PS. I used pictures that I found on the internet to determine how your TV is mounted in your cabinet.

What about first removing the TV from the brackets ?
It looks like there is room to swing a ratchet handle on these four bolts.
Hard to believe that GD went to this attachment scheme from the four keyhole attachments.

Ha you're the best!! What nice people there are on this forum! Thank you so much for your help and research. I also noticed the holes. I'm thinking somehow the bracket was damaged during transport, or when the dealer takes the tv´s out for vandalism purposes until they are sold. Whichever the case, this is what we are left with and we will deal with it.
    Thanks again!

    Hi Julie,

This is njoyinglife. I hope this reply goes through. I'm not a computer genius but enjoy reading the forum. I own a 2014 369RL and have taken the tv out a couple of times. Unless GD has changed something all you have to do is remove the 4 screws on the bracket as GD350M said with a #2 square bit. I had to get an extension for my cordless drill to reach back there. Once the screws are removed you can slide the tv out and have access to the back or remove it entirely. My tv is a Haier. It sets on a stand and the 2 brackets hold it in there.
