    I as going to comment that a J-hook might be better. Thanks for mentioning it. I think there would still be some strain on the electrical connect with the rope around it as opposed to a J-hook. But the rope idea is better than nothing.

    fwiw - when I installed my power reel and replaced the receptacle in the sidewall with a door to access the reel I found that the Amish craftsman who installed my receptacle missed the wall bracing completely when he screwed into the wall and just screwed the receptacle into the fiberglass.
