I also have a Reese, and a soft cover on my truck. No problems. I also didn't have any issue with my old hitch befroe upgrading to the Reese.

Yup, Reese and a Truxedo roll up, no problem. Out of sight, out of mind. When I had the hitch installed, the tech manager said they would have to remove the bed cover to install the hitch. I told him he wouldn't and he told me that I was correct afterward.
