DD Series 60, 12.7L, Eaton 10 speed.
Was made aware my F350 wasn't enough truck, so screw it.
I'm a truck driver, and might as well stay with what I know !

That Trailersaver hitch is a nice touch as well. I've never used their TS3 but I've owned their BD3 and BD5 models. Love them! Really smooths out the ride in the truck and is easier on the RV as well.

The present owner, is currently on the road with this unit, near me. He downsized his 5th wheel, and now has no need for such a large unit.

I think it's a great option. If they had one that seats 6 I would seriously consider it. With the hitch behind the axle, it would make backing a fifth wheel as responsive as a bumper pull trailer. One of the biggest benefits is if your trailer brakes take a poop then the truck is more than capable to safely stop the truck/trailer. And forget about exceeding payload capacity, wont need to worry about that anymore, you could easily add extra water storage or a storage cabinet to the back of the truck. Buying a truck like that with 500k miles is nothing, they should easily make it to 1,000,000 miles which as an RVer you most likely wont put on that many miles to get to that point.

Beautiful truck. The Volvos are very popular with the HDT crowd in the Escapees RV Club. Most of them tow a big Luxe, DRV, etc., with them. It's kind of a cult on the HDT sub-forum on the Escapees forums... might be interesting if you haven't already checked into it.
