First time RV owners, Family of 4, 2 dogs, just purchased 2021 Imagine 2800BH

Can’t believe it but here we are, first time RV owners with a Grand Design Imagine 2800BH.

Got it last Friday, took it to a not too far away KOA Sunday to Tuesday and had a blast.

We have 2 daughters (7yrs and 20 months), and 2 dogs, one Golden Retrievers and one cocker spaniel.

Looking forward to seeing new places, making new friends, and creating memories.

Not sure how to attach pictures from mobile.

    Welcome.

I believe in order to post photos you have to be a paid member. I could be wrong, however.

Congrats & glad to hear the 1st trip was a blast! We're also 1st timers & just picked up a Transcend 29TBS last weekend. Doing the driveway shake-down thing right now, but have a reservation (pull-through, full hookup site) at a small, local campground for 4th weekend. Our 3 year-old daughter had a lot of fun when we rented a travel trailer & did a 3-day weekend at a local place last summer. We also have 2 dogs, but those heathens (a great dane & a coonhound) won't be camping anytime soon.

I'm not a paid member so let's test that theory with a random photo I found on my phone...

Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.

I can only say I got my information from the "Forum 101 - Helpful Hints and instructions" forum. This post is dated in April this year and says that paid members can upload photos, but it's not listed for unpaid members:

2021 imagine 2800BH: dimensions of both bunks, and thickness of frame for sway control hitch.
I am picking mine up next week.

    Thanks

I own one now. Can answer most questions. I have a Andersen “No sway” hitch which works great. Have already been about 4 trips (100-200) miles each. Awesome camper!

The bunks are 46.5 x 76. The upper mattress is thicker and not too bad but the bottom one is really thin.
