Replaced both with a 4” (3/4 size 48x75) memory foam on Amazon.
We have grown children and son-in-laws. All good Now.
Btw: a Blackstone 22” fits perfect in the outside kitchen when I removed the bar. I store the base in the pass through.

We put some kind of gel egg crate thing on the top mattress for our little girl and she loves it. We haven't done anything on the bottom yet. We have a 28" Blackstone that we keep in the pass through. Good to know a 22 would fit in the kitchen area though.
