    Boondocking and Chasing 70

Now that I find myself with some unexpected time off, I was thinking to try my hand at boondocking. I haven't installed solar or a bank of batteries on an inverter yet, so I'd be looking for a place where I wouldn't need AC in my Reflection 337RLS. I realize this is an open ended thread, but I'm looking for suggestions, and I LOVE to hike, fish and hunt. What states / areas (excluding West Coast states) would you suggest I look in for BLM land that would make for a pleasant stay in a rig my size this July?

Seems my home state of PA isn't going to have a lot to offer as public areas are generally rough terrain or densely forested. But if there are suggestions there, I'm open to it also.

Edit: 1 requirement is I gotta have some cell service. AT&T is preferable.

We boondock 100%. Generally boodocking and cell service do not go together... Now if you are will to drive a short distance from camp, it can often be had.

I don't know how far WEST you want to go but AZ is an amazing state to boondock in, especially in the White Mountains of NE AZ.

There are some areas here in PA that aren't so off-road, but cell service is nonexistent... I would agree with the recommendation for high elevation AZ if you're up for the long-haul! My suggestion is to search out BLM lands and shop by historic weather. Lol. Might be time for that trip to Alaska. Lots of boondocking along the way!

    Perfect suggestion!!
That is the best three month trip we've taken to date.
