    2600rRB Passing LP Gas

On the Imagine 2600RB entry door side, the is a LP Gas connection outlook. But- not a typical LP gas type connection. I want to hook up an external gas stove while camping. Is there some special kind of connection needed? If so where do I get one.

    Thanks.

It's an lp quick connect. We have the napoleon q (really loving it and the 2 burner) but had to buy the adapter which also came with a 6feet hose. It replaces the regulator on your bbq.

I have a 2600rb and a CampChef Explorer 2 burner stove/grill system. I bought a 12' adapter hose. 12' gives me enough length to get out from under the awning on nice days. Works like a charm.

I have a Coleman stove which will not run off the trailer LP. It requires the 1 lb bottles only. Before you buy an adapter you might not be able to return, make sure your stove will work on the low pressure LP feed.

I had to replace the regulator on mine with that adapter and hose. You should be able to do the same.

What I have is the Coleman FyreCadet 2-Burner Camp Stove and according to Propanegear.com there is no adapter kit available. This stove is 11,000BTU per side with virtually no temp control. Great for boiling water, searing a steak or wok cooking but to fry eggs...incinerate. Propanegear.com insisted this stove can only be used with the 1lb bottles and since it has no regulator, it cannot be used with the low pressure supplied from the trailer aux output. AND pressure from a 20 lb bottle is too high, plus no adapter to plug into the stove (unique to the stove).

I did adapt my Champion dual fuel inverter to the aux output. There is no direct adapter to do that and several propane specialists said it cannot be done. Weird sizes, regulator is not standard (what the type we use), etc. Just had to work out how their system works and put together a system to do it.

MacGyver Approved and it works great!
